My name is Steve McLeod the owner of Mcleod Aero, LLC. I’m an A&P/IA & Private Pilot with 15 years of experience in general aviation.

I grew up in southeast Texas and moved to Waco in 2006 to attend the TSTC Aviation Maintenance program. After graduating I worked for most of the local aviation companies doing engine work, airframe work, electrical, sheet metal, composite repairs, inspections and everything in between. Outside of maintaining airplanes I enjoy turning wrenches on my own projects! Aviation is a huge part of my life and I have enjoyed working on some amazing airplanes and flying every chance I can!

My mission is to help aircraft owners have safe and reliable machines. A safe and reliable airplane is one that can be flown on a cross country flight to the favorite BBQ spot or a bucket list flight to another country. In either case, I’m committed to helping owners enjoy their flying machines to the fullest.
